Question regarding upcoming DisplayLink Manager updates & dual 4K display stability on macOS Sequoia
Hi everyone,
I’ve been tracking the recent announcements regarding the official DisplayLink Manager releases for macOS. Thanks to the dev team for maintaining steady updates and compatibility support!
I have a specific question regarding the roadmap/release notes for upcoming software versions:
Are there any planned optimizations or fixes specifically addressing random frame drops or brief black-screen flickers when running dual 4K @ 60Hz setups via DL-6950-based docking stations on recent macOS versions?
We are currently deploying several workstations with this configuration, and while basic display functionality works smoothly, we occasionally notice high CPU utilization from the DisplayLinkUserAgent process during heavy screen-sharing sessions (Zoom/Teams).
Would love to know if an optimized build or driver patch targeting screen capture performance is scheduled in the next release cycle, or if there are recommended system-level tweaks to mitigate this in the meantime.
Thanks for any insights or updates from the support team!
Best regards, Wordle Hint
