1. Redesign monitoring dashboard

   The monitoring dashboard does not scale properly. When you use threshold monitoring in collapsed view, only the top part of the dashboard scales.

   The bottom part, which lists the applications you want to monitor, does not scale, resulting in scroll bars and applications which are not visible in the dashboard because they won't fit on screen..

2. Redesign monitoring dashboard

   At this moment the monitoring dashboard, especially when displayed on a wallboard, contains a lot of excess white space. If you, for example, only want to display threshold monitoring in collapsed view, you see one sole small representation of the top level, followed by a lot of white space. And only then you get to see the applications you are monitoring.

3. HPSM integration

   Biztalk 360 for integration with HP Service Manager – the ticketing tool.

    
   I have seen some option for integration with the HP Operations Manager but I wanted to know if there is any way of integrating with HPSM.

4. Offical SCOM MP (sealed) to monitor events and service from BizTalk360

   We have incidents when BizTalk360 looses the connection to database because of network issues, during updates or maintenance windows. During those it have happened that the BizTalk360 service do not start, and I have no idea that the service was actually stopped until the customer (how manage the flow in the application) calls and says they aren't receiving e-mails.
   We already have the IIS MP, so that are monitored. I asked my SCOM guy to create some rules (alerts) of the Event ID's I have found and monitoring the service.
   But I would like to make a feature request to have and official SCOM MP (that are sealed) for monitoring the specific BizTalk360 components and events.

5. Alerting per Suspended Instance

   The requirement is that the customer wants to receive an alert each time a message or instance got suspended. So this is a bit like an event driven approach.
   Applications
   Say you have an alert for Suspended Instances with a Warning threshold of (more than) 0 and an Error threshold of (more than) 5. This would result in getting a notification when:
   a. nothing is suspended yet and
   b. a Message or Instance got suspended
   This is because the Warning threshold is set to (more than) 0. As far as I am aware of, the next notification you would get is when the Error threshold is met. So when this is set to 5, you would not get notifications of suspended messages/instances 2, 3 and 4.
   Of course you have the 'If violation persists...' functionality, but when the 2nd, 3rd or 4th instance(s) got suspended outside that timeframe, multiplied by 'Limit Number...', you would not get a notification for the instances which occur outside that timeframe.
   Data Monitoring
   With Data Monitoring you could set the Data Filter to Suspended Service Instances and the Warning threshold to > 0, but when there are no suspended instances within the configured frequency you would get an email that no instances got suspended, which is a bit over-informative .
   As far as my experience with Data Monitoring reaches, the closest you can currently get is a daily report with the number of suspended instances of that day, even when that's zero...
   To solve this you could think of adding an Information Threshold which can be assigned a number, just like Warning and Error Threshold under Applications. When assigned:
   - 0 no notifications will be sent
   - 1 a notification will be sent for each suspended instance
   - 2 a notification will be sent for every 2nd suspended instance
   - 3 a notification will be sent for every 3rd suspended instance
   - etc.
   To prevent flooding the 'If violation persists...' / 'Limit Number...' functionality would apply.

6. Monitor SSO on non-BizTalk server

   When the EntSSO service is not running on a BizTalk or SQL server, it's currently not possible to monitor the state if that service with BizTalk360. Since the EntSSO is such an important component for BizTalk, it would be good to be able to monitor that service.

7. Threshold monitoring like alerts in data Monitoring

   A notification when the threshold is reached and no further notification if the situation stays like that.
   An UP notification when that issue gets resolved

8. Monitoring an event not trigerred by Biztalk system

   Sometimes we have a process which is only partially executed by Biztalk. But this process is a global integration process and need to be monitored by an integration team.
   Example :
   the process write a flag file in a directory. sometimes Biztalk write the file, sometimes the file is written by another system (and no Biztalk artefact is trigerred). in this last specific cas, Biztalk 360 doesn't allow me to check if the flag file is there or not.
   I think it could be useful to add a feature which allow to detect a file in a specific directory (same as the behavior of a Biztalk receive location)

9. Problems rotating dashboards on a monitor

   We have a single monitor on a wall near our BizTalk DevOps team. This is used to display dashboards for Azure, VSTS and BizTalk360.

   We use the “Tab Carousel” add-in for Chrome to rotate the pages.

   We have the following problems rotating BizTalk360 pages:
   - Zoom settings for Monitoring dashboards are lost.
   - When we try to rotate multiple BizTalk360 Monitoring dashboards. Dashboard 2 will refresh back to Dashboard 1 (first in drop down list).

10. Ping Monitoring

    To add to the list of endpoint types that BizTalk360 monitors, it would good to monitor ping results.

    We have an Oracle database server that keeps going down that is used by one of our BizTalk Send Ports. It would be good to alert if the database server is unavailable using a simple ping.

11. Monitor untrusted domain with specified accounts

    Currently you can only monitor BizTalk Environments which are in the same domain.

    We have multiple test environments which are in silo'ed untrusted domains, and would like the ability to to monitor all of them from the one BizTalk360 Environment.

    Allow us to use Domain Accounts from each domain to connect and retrieve the information required

13. Manually start a Health Check alarm

    Hi,
    When we configure a new alarm (for Health Check), it is not possible to force the alarm to execute immediately. It could be great to have this ability in order to avoid waiting for the next scheduled interval.

14. Add XML Support for Export/Import (Alarms)

    The settings exports such as Alarms allow only JSON as an export format. Although the format is convenient for web sites and browser applications, it is not as convenient to read and query in text editors. PowerShell querying (Convert-FromJson) seems to be useful to read the exported JSON data, but I request that you add XML support for import/export of settings. Being able to query the settings is important when any bulk changes to alarms are required or when migrating alarms between environments.

15. Custom Notification Channels - Load from GAC

    Allow the custom notification channel assembly to load from the GAC, possibly with a checkbox and this could be another option to loading from the database. Updating an existing custom channel does not work properly and this could help to solve the issue. It would be MUCH easier to install (or re-install) a custom DLL to the GAC and restart the service as needed.

17. DR Log Shipping Alerts

    Is there any easy way of monitoring the status on the BTS Server Log Shipping Restore Databases job on the DR SQL instance so we can raise alerts if it fails?

    We have a client who has a cluster on both the production and DR side so 4 SQL servers total.

    I suggested we could set up alerting based on an SQL query but was wondering if there’s a simpler way.

18. Requirement in Database query monitoring

    Can I make a suggestion to make the 10 second timeout variable somewhere. We have some queries which deliver between 9-11 seconds but are at peak performance.

19. Filtering capabilities in Alert History

    From time to time I find myself wandering through the Alert History. At that times I often miss the capability to:

    Being able to see all records in the Alert History.
    Have filtering capabilities like we know from Message Box queries and Graphical Flow.
    Being able to show the actual mail which is being sent (I noticed this is in the database).

20. Functionality Request Regarding "Process Monitor"

    Process Monitor to handle acknowledgements.
    For examle
    - System sends an invoice to BizTalk
    - BizTalk do a couple och mappings
    - BizTalk sends Invoice to VAN och directly to customer
    - VAN or Customer sends an xml-ACK to BizTalk with invoicenumber and status
    - BizTalk360 triggers alarm if:
    o No ACK received in x minutes
    o If status in ACK is different from ”OK”
    - View in BizTalk360 that shows
    o What system did send the invoice and when
    o For how long did we have to wait for ACK
    o And more…..
    o Of cource filter to be able to see what invoices does not have ACK yet.
