Remove orphaned for BizTalk Servers and SQL Servers monitoring
Hi,
When we import an alarm from one environment to another, there are sometimes orphaned artefacts.
You already have a button "Remove orphaned" in Applications (for send ports, receive locations,..) but this feature does not exist for Disk and System Resources when monitoring BizTalk and SQL Servers.3 votes -
Ability to monitor SSO service and clustered services
Our BizTalk runs on two application servers and two Db servers. We are facing one problem where we have now clustered our SQL server enterprise single sign on service, so if one of the sql server is down, the SSO sign on service will move to another node.
Earlier the monitoring setup in BizTalk360 was Ent SSO service on both the sql nodes were set as started. Now it is running on one node at a time and the second is inactive. There can be a condition where this node can be down, so other SSO service node will be…

Ability to monitor RabbitMQ (on seperate host)
We're currently looking into implementing RabbitMQ. For monitoring they offer API's. However all our current monitoring tools don't offer build-in support to monitor RabbitMQ. Since it will be part of our integration platform we would like to be able to monitor this using BT360

Ability to do a quick add for new artefacts in apps
Hi,
Here is the use case: I have a BizTalk application with artefacts and the related BizTalk360 alarms with all artefacts mapped.
Now, I add a new receive location or send port in the application. It could be very useful to have the ability to detect, in BizTalk360, that for a particular alarm, there are "not mapped" artefacts and provide the ability to map them automatically.2 votesThis scenario can be achieved by configuring the Alarm to Monitor Unmapped Artifacts . This functionality is available in latest version 10.6 .

New feature requests on Autocorrect
I have couple of new feature requests for BizTalk360.
- Receive Location/Send Port/Orchestration - Auto Correct (set time)
- Option to configure BizTalk360 to try to auto correct artifacts in scheduled time (every 1 hour 5 times).
- Use case: BizTalk Receive Location A goes in disabled state. BizTalk360 tries to auto correct Receive Location 5 times and fails to restart port. Alarm email is sent to monitoring person, but it is night time and person is not available to react on alarm email. Receive Location stays disabled until monitoring person comes to work etc. and activates Receive Location manually.
…Solution: Set time
2 votesAutocorrect reset capability will solve this use case.
It is implemented in the latest versions of BizTalk360. -
Data monitoring alert roll up
We have data monitoring alerts setup for a number of customers such as count > 0 in last 15/30/60 minutes etc. This obviously results in individual emails, however it would be good to be able to roll up emails. For example if I have a customer that doesn’t place an order from 10-11 and then 11-12 and then 12-1pm, can I get emails to roll up so each subsequent email shows the previous failures? Otherwise I will just have three separate emails which I have to check for each customer to see how long they have not been placing an…

Widget with errors
There is no widget in the operations dashboard to notify any kind of errors or warnings determined in the monitoring area. Knowing how many mappings and data monitoring is set up is more useful if you know what is actually wrong

Alert for wrong startup type from NT-Service
In the NT-Service monitoring I would like the option to make an alert for the startup-type. So we can quickly discover a wrong startup type.
2 votesIn the BizTalk360 latest release, NT Services startup type and log-on account can be monitored .

Allow the creation of Alarm Mapping templates used in by alarms (instanced or referenced)
As per title and other suggestions.
Allow a mapping template to be created and named. These templates would be 'masters'. Then when creating alarms allow a template to be selected and instanced into the alarm or copied to a version and the versioned copy referenced by one or more alarms. Obviously if a template is copied version is referenced by multiple alarms dependencies would need to be displayed or alerted if changes were made to the referenced mappings for example.
I could go on but the idea is there ...

Listing of alerts stopped for maintenance
I would like to see an improvement in future editions where you are displayed with a list of stop alerts you have created (within the same page), in the Stop Alerts for Maintenance page.

Stop and disable the host instance when auto correction is set to Disabled
There is no way for setting Stopped and Disabled states – not for monitoring or auto-correct behavior.
The problem this is creating for me is that if someone inadvertently starts a secondary FTP Receive Host Instance (as someone did recently) I want BizTalk360 to:
- alert me that this Host Instance is in an unexpected state
- have auto-correct set it to the desired state – Disabled
- and stop the running service – because it should never have been started and must be stopped: a. Set to disabled and left running is not what I need b. Setting ‘Desired State’ to Stopped…

Autocorrect should have configurable retry interval
Currently autocorrect tries to enable a port once a minute. It would be nice to configure this to a different interval like once every 5 minutes.
2 votesIn the latest version of BizTalk360, Auto Correct retry interval is achieved through auto correct reset capability. For more details

Check inbound file size < 10 kb
The customer has a new BI process that collect data and send it to the CRM system.
Sometime there are no data, the source system creates an “empty” file.
The file is not empty because there is the header information, but no data.
Customer asked me to create an alarm, if a file smaller than 10 kb would be found.
I hoped to find this function into the Data Monitoring, but was not.
I think this could be a good function for a future version.- Idea shared by Nicolas Blatter

24 hours Data monitoring with fixed time alert
Actually in data monitoring, it is possible to schedule a 24h frequency monitor but we can't specify when the alert will be sent. By Example: Need to check if we receive a file for 24h and send the alert at 5hAM to call the support.

Process monitoring execution result page
The information provided in Data Monitoring Dashboard is enough.
The schedules I configured to monitor the reception of at least 1 file (>0). Even though Condition is showing ‘Greater Than’ I think Expected Count should also show ‘>0’ to be more accurate in the Process monitoring execution result page at Process monitoring dashboard.

Add Ability to Disable and Enable Specific Data Monitoring Entries
Occasionally I find it necessary to disable specific data monitors while a specific process is down or temporarily on hold. I don't want to disable the entire associated Alarm, as that would impact more than wanted. Since there is no Disable/Enable feature, I am forced to delete and recreate the Data Monitor instead.
1 voteFrom version 10.3 on the data monitoring schedule can be enabled or disabled based on the need .
