  1. Message delay and message delay by shapes in orchestration in BizTalk360

    To implement message count, message delay and message delay by shapes in orchestration in BizTalk360? We don’t have any way to monitor how may message processed by BizTalk and where in orchestration it caused to delay.

    • Graphics for data in the msgbox

      I have interest in the graphical representation of the (technical) flow, which I can map to a model (logical flow) that those administrators do understand.
      If an interchange completes and gets into the tracking database I have those graphics, very nice.
      But, I would also like such graphics for data in the msgbox e.g. an interchange in process waiting to continue.
      Can I visualize data still in the msgbox with BizTalk360?

        • Analytics for longer time frames

          It would be good to be able to be able to export the analytics data. This would help in analyzing data over time. Since we can only see a months worth of data, being able to export that and then compare as time goes by would be very helpful. This is especially true as we want year over year (YOY) comparisions

          • UP alerts beyond the restricted time in Threshold alert

            As we have some of the alerts running only office hours (8am-5pm) we sometimes note the following scenario:

            1. An error occurs at 3 pm.
            2. An alert email DOWN is sent out to ICC and on-call personnel immediately.
            3. The error is fixed 6 pm.
            4. No UP email is sent to ICC and on-call personnel due to the 8-5 limit.

            Somehow it would feel more safe to receive the UP email, even if the schedule should not be active at that time. The way it is today, we that receive the alerts are "supposed to have knowledge" of…

            • Application mapping for all artifacts in one go

              Would like to set up the mappings for BizTalk360 alarms to enable the monitoring for all receive/send/orchestrations/service monitoring for all applications in one go.

              At the minute we need to go through the apps one at a time (example there are 83 application) turning it on but it would be much easier if there is a click option "enable all" and then go through and turn off or amend as required if i see things flag up as red.

                This is related to the configuration of BizTalk360 with ServiceNow. able to configure it successfully and incidents are coming in Service Now. But, I need the functionality like, I can create incidents and will be assigned to different groups based on the services from the BizTalk360 side.

                  It appears from the profiler output that 360 uses hard-coded SQL for updating messages upon resubmission.
                  A stored proc exists for doing this, named usp_Update_Message – ,Is this can be taken in BizTalk360

                  • Delet ESB fault messages that users do not want to resubmit

                    For example if the error is resolved elsewhere, then the need for resubmission disappears. I think the original ESB portal had something this?

                      I've been informed by BizTalk 360 support that BizTalk 360 currently does not support data monitoring with arbitrary interval, say 7.5 days(180 hours). It would be nice to have this enhancement.

                        About this topic "Advanced Event Viewer with the filter of messages".On the very old versions of B360, this filter was usable with the "contains" operations. So we were able to search for a specific keyword in the event logs and B360 was able to get the results. In the actual version, we only have the option "is equal to", so we have to write the exact message to get a fetch, which is impossible. Our helpdesk still request to get a direct access to the Biztalk Server to

                        • Data monitoring could not ended at midnight

                          It is not possible to end a data process monitoring at 12h00am (midnight). Let say we want to monitor 7h00pm until 12h00am, the web interface got an error: "The end time should be atleast 15 mins later than the start time.". We have to set 23h45 or 00:15. So it is impossible to get a result at 12h00am.
                          If we set 23h45, we don't have the last 15 minutes of the day included in the monitoring. If we set 00h15, the first 15 minutes of the new day is part of the new day, not the last day.

                              • Database file utilization

                                We have had a few outages lately because the BizTalkMsgBoxDb and the BizTalkDTADb log files have grown out of control and filled up the entire disk. I am not sure if this is possible given the permissions available to the application but it would be really nice if the database file and log file utilization was monitored either for rapid expansion or percentage of disk space so an alarm can go off before everything hits critical levels. Alternatively it could look for long running non-committed transactions that could send the log file spiraling out of control.

                                • Improve filter options in Data monitoring screen under "SET DATA FILTER"

                                  The filter options under Data Monitoring alert are very limited.
                                  Example: For query type 'Suspended Service Instances', the 'Add Filter' only has one condition 'Is Equal to'.
                                  Which means, we cannot create filters like 'Is Not Equal to'.
                                  This is specially important when we don't want to monitor suspended messages of specific port/application/service/host for example.

                                  • Proactive Biztalk operations helped with an alarm definition

                                    Would like to operate Biztalk Applications (Start and stop ports or hosts) with an indicator that will say if the artefact should be stopped or started.
                                    This informations is available in the monitoring dashboard but is not available while we are operating Biztalk.
                                    This could be done by addind a view of a existing alarm while we use the "Application Support panel" and "Infrastructure Setting panel".
                                    This will be usefull to our helpdesk to operate Biztalk without hesitation and will simplify our instructions to the helpdesk when a problem occurred or while we implement new or updated Biztalk Applications.

                                      Is it possible to add a delay between each autocorrection attempt? To avoid reaching too fast the number of retry and to cover particular use cases where we need to wait before re-activating a receive location for example?

                                        In application monitoring I'd like to have the option to show all receive locations, all send ports or all orchestrations in one overview.

                                        This would make it much faster and easier to add all items in your monitoring.
                                        And this would also make it much easier to add new items in your existing monitoring or to do a weekly or monthly check whether all new items are added in your application.
                                        Now we have to click and reclick thousands of items if we want to check we have all items in our application monitoring. Especially when you have a lot…

                                        • Support message security for resubmit

                                          All our BizTalk services need to support message security (TransportWithMessageCredential to be precise). This includes any resubmit services. At the moment there is no way to specify client credentials in BizTalk360, so the suggestion is to support client credentials for message resubmission.
