  1. Dashboard for support people- read only

    I would like to request a feature to create a dashboard for Servicedesk/Large monitors.
    This should be a read-only full-screen view for 'on the wall' monitors for a Servicedesk/Monitoring group

  2. Message delay and message delay by shapes in orchestration in BizTalk360

    To implement message count, message delay and message delay by shapes in orchestration in BizTalk360? We don’t have any way to monitor how may message processed by BizTalk and where in orchestration it caused to delay.

  5. Alert to event log when license is going to expire

    I saw that an error was logged to the event log when it tried to send mail, that the license had expired. Is it possible to add a verification/monitor that will log a warning to the event log that the license is about to get expired?

  6. Alerting per Suspended Instance

    The requirement is that the customer wants to receive an alert each time a message or instance got suspended. So this is a bit like an event driven approach.
    Applications
    Say you have an alert for Suspended Instances with a Warning threshold of (more than) 0 and an Error threshold of (more than) 5. This would result in getting a notification when:
    a. nothing is suspended yet and
    b. a Message or Instance got suspended
    This is because the Warning threshold is set to (more than) 0. As far as I am aware of, the next notification you would get…

  7. Graphics for data in the msgbox

    I have interest in the graphical representation of the (technical) flow, which I can map to a model (logical flow) that those administrators do understand.
    If an interchange completes and gets into the tracking database I have those graphics, very nice.
    But, I would also like such graphics for data in the msgbox e.g. an interchange in process waiting to continue.
    Can I visualize data still in the msgbox with BizTalk360?

  9. Analytics for longer time frames

    It would be good to be able to be able to export the analytics data. This would help in analyzing data over time. Since we can only see a months worth of data, being able to export that and then compare as time goes by would be very helpful. This is especially true as we want year over year (YOY) comparisions

  10. ESB filter options- Improvement

    1.Need an filter on failure column values that currently exist in the exception fault table. So that we can setup a proactive alarm on an application.

    2.The only available filter expression is "is Equal To"


    1. Filter with an 'OR' condition on the same column. i.e. Application is Equal To 'App1' or 'App2'. You can add another filter, but then you lose the selection of 'Application" on the second filter

    4.There is no filtering defined for Scope
    5.The only filter available on Exception Stack Trace is 'Is Equal To'

  11. UP alerts beyond the restricted time in Threshold alert

    As we have some of the alerts running only office hours (8am-5pm) we sometimes note the following scenario:


    1.  An error occurs at 3 pm.
      

    2.  An alert email DOWN is sent out to ICC and on-call personnel immediately.
      

    3.  The error is fixed 6 pm.
      

    4.  No UP email is sent to ICC and on-call personnel due to the 8-5 limit.
      

    Somehow it would feel more safe to receive the UP email, even if the schedule should not be active at that time. The way it is today, we that receive the alerts are "supposed to have knowledge" of the schedules on every…

  12. Application mapping for all artifacts in one go

    Would like to set up the mappings for BizTalk360 alarms to enable the monitoring for all receive/send/orchestrations/service monitoring for all applications in one go.

    At the minute we need to go through the apps one at a time (example there are 83 application) turning it on but it would be much easier if there is a click option "enable all" and then go through and turn off or amend as required if i see things flag up as red.

  13. Monitoring alert content improvements

    We have done a DR test on our biztalk environment and we received the alert stating “Monitor Error” . When The server XXXX was down during this alert, I expect the alert to say something more alarming like “SERVER DOWN” instead of “Monitor Error”.

  14. ESB resubmissiom improvements

    It appears from the profiler output that 360 uses hard-coded SQL for updating messages upon resubmission.
    A stored proc exists for doing this, named uspUpdateMessage – ,Is this can be taken in BizTalk360

  15. Monitoring dashboard improvements on green /red lights

    The test was to stop IIS. Simulation of web server crash, malfunction or network error. We performed an IIS Stop service only. No stop of biztalk360 service.

    The results: The client browsers keep having the service status green flashing light at top right corner of the Dashboard monitoring portal. And the monitoring icon on the top left turned red saying that the service monitoring service is stopped (which is wrong).

    So, on the upper left (blue left panel with the menu), that a red light appeared beside the icons monitoring and analytics. The red light beside monitoring is saying that…

  16. Data monitoring with arbitrary interval

    I've been informed by BizTalk 360 support that BizTalk 360 currently does not support data monitoring with arbitrary interval, say 7.5 days(180 hours). It would be nice to have this enhancement.

    We use BAM Aggregations to give our IT Operations Managers a summarised view of the state of the BizTalk system in terms of volumes which can be used to identify possible contention issues.

  18. Permissions to control if a user can do 'Terminate instance'

    The ability to do 'Terminate' on an instance should be controlled by permissions to make sure that not all users can do this. The consequences of terminating an instance which has ordered delivery enabled on it can be severe since all the messages 'in queue' are deleted when the instance is terminated. Some users should be able to do 'Resume' without have the rigts to do 'Terminate'

  19. Database file utilization

    We have had a few outages lately because the BizTalkMsgBoxDb and the BizTalkDTADb log files have grown out of control and filled up the entire disk. I am not sure if this is possible given the permissions available to the application but it would be really nice if the database file and log file utilization was monitored either for rapid expansion or percentage of disk space so an alarm can go off before everything hits critical levels. Alternatively it could look for long running non-committed transactions that could send the log file spiraling out of control.

  20. Data monitoring could not ended at midnight

    It is not possible to end a data process monitoring at 12h00am (midnight). Let say we want to monitor 7h00pm until 12h00am, the web interface got an error: "The end time should be atleast 15 mins later than the start time.". We have to set 23h45 or 00:15. So it is impossible to get a result at 12h00am.
    If we set 23h45, we don't have the last 15 minutes of the day included in the monitoring. If we set 00h15, the first 15 minutes of the new day is part of the new day, not the last day.
